Been thinking about getting one for next next season to hunt lakes and sloughs, any thoughts ? Has anyone hunted with something similiar and if so what kind of results do you have? I'm concerned about safety.

I got one. Works awesome in NJ. take it in Ponds, Lakes, Creeks..you name it its in there. i can float it with 2 guys and gear in 6 inches of water.

Cant store much gear but guns, blind bag, decoys, and blind def fits. I use a trolling motor mostly 55 lb thrust. As for a blind i made a half of a blind to cover our front out of PVC pipe and blind material. ill tell you wont thing. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FLIP!

this is my boat. I let my buddy take his gf out fishing for the first time on a lake in nj. I am in my New Kayak taking the pic.

Here is my new Kayak. This is a great little rig to duck hunt from too.

Thanks for the  replies, this give me a better perpective on getting one to fish and chase ducks. What about trolling motor hp and battery? What would be the best one to get?
