Had a buddy tell me that he used to take 1 gallon milk jugs, (empty of course), and paint them black. He said they worked pretty darn good. Just wondering if anybody else has done this also???

Heard of that and old clorox bottles being used and being effecting, but I have never tried it.

There was an article in Field & Stream several months back about them.  It recommended adding them to your spread if you didn't have a ton of decoys.

Just might have to drink alot of milk in the next few weeks, and give it a try. The best part, of trying the milk jugs, is going to be getting high, while spray painting them black!! lol

i've done this for ducks with black paint and white detailing, but never for geese.  I'd say to paint tan or gray faded to black on top and back.  that'd give you an even better look.
