I once had a wobbly forend on my Remmy and gave Remington a call. Within a week they sent me entire new one including mag cap free of charge. I realize my situation is different than yours, but in my experience they provided outstanding customer service.

My veramax got to Remington today and will post when it is on its way home. Sent an 870 about four years ago and it was on its way back in about a week to ten days.

Remington is very good..  i've had the same experience sending one of my sons guns in..  Browning on the other hand, as much as I like their guns, is awful.  They have a condesending attitude when you you call them trying to explain the problem with a gun etc.    Now i know how my wife feels when she goes to Ford .

dang I never got back on this. well it been back for a long while now beleave it tok a week if even that.had a bi of a time trying to get it office wouldn't take it but gave me a long triangle box fr it.had to take it apart to get it in ther.had to walk into stapples with it in box.lady asked what is it?i whispered its a shotgun I have to send it back to Remington arms for warranty work. can you guys ship it? she didn't know what to do she called manager we all continued to whisper.they said ok we will just do it.they said if I never would of told them they  never would of know it was a gun, but I wanted to be honest not wanting to violate some postal law. Remington sent it back in a new shotgun box had it cleaned thought it was a new gun, but was the same.the replaced ejector spring and smoothed the barrel like most guys said they would do.sadly havnt got time to take it out and test it yet. hoping for the best thow.
