Just picked up an 887 today, and was wondering if anyone else out there has one. If so do you like it, and is it working good for you.

Purchased my 887 back in 2010 and it had a problem not wanting to fire the 2nd and 3rd round. Heard there were problems with the first ones produced so I sent mine directly to Remington for repair. Rem. put the new designed bolt and trigger assembly in and sent it back . I test fired a number of rounds through it and everything seems ok. Haven't used it hunting yet...I'm leary to use it and have a problem in the field.
I'm thinking of purchasing a Winchester SXP pump, thiink it's a better gun.

Yea I've heard some negative things about it on other sites. It's been pouring down rain here, but I went outside and put 9 3inch shells through it. It did really good. Cycled pretty good, but i've heard it starts to cycle better after you put a couple of boxes through it. I can't wait to hunt with it. So far I can't complain, because I only paid $340 for it new.
