Justin Harris, who spent three years in New York with Ducks Unlimited, has been named the Regional Director (RD) for the Western Region of South Carolina. He will cover a vast area that includes areas such as Anderson, Greenville, Spartanburg and Rock Hill. Harris, a native of North Carolina, is replacing Nate Schnetzler who has decided to return to law school to finish his degree.
Also responsible for covering the Western Region of North Carolina, Harris comes to DU following a three-year stint as an RD in Eastern New York where he had great fundraising success where he helped lead his region to a top-five ranking in growth and looks forward to bringing that success to the Carolinas.
In his spare time, Harris is very passionate about waterfowling and waterfowl conservation. He credits his love for duck hunting and DU to his late father David A. Harris, who always made it a point to teach him the importance of sportsmanship as well as being an asset to the hunting and conservation community.
Harris, who earned a communications degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and his yellow Lab Sadie, will reside in Clover, South Carolina.
