CINDY LYNCH IS NEW AREA CHAIR AT GERMANTOWN/CORDOVA
by Gary Goodpaster, Regional Director
After two highly successful years as Area Chair of the Germantown/Cordova Committee in the Memphis area, David Clark has handed the G/CDU reins to the new Area Chairman, Ms. Cindy Lynch.
Cindy is a highly successful businesswoman, with a significant history of service to Ducks Unlimited. She is the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Biologics Marketing at Medtronic, a Memphis corporation. She has also been a member of the Germantown/Cordova Committee since 2003 but has held other DU posts, as well. Among the most significant of those “others” was her participation as a key member of the team that planned and executed the successful Ducks Unlimited Expo event in Memphis in the autumn of 2005.
DU is not Cindy’s only interest. She is an avid duck, deer and turkey hunter… not to mention being a NASCAR fanatic. She travels to most of the races within a ten hour drive of Memphis. One of her most thrilling experiences was actually driving a race car during the “Race-On” event at Memphis Motorsports Park earlier this year.
Cindy believes in giving back to the wildlife resource and to other good causes, as well. That’s a prime reason she is so committed to Ducks Unlimited. She also serves as a volunteer coordinator for a local NWTF “Women in the Outdoors” group.
Good for you, Cindy! Keep it up!
Please welcome Cindy in her new role of responsibility with Tennessee DU, as she leads the Germantown/Cordova committee to even bigger and better things.
Thank you, Cindy, for all you do for the ducks!
