Roger Penrod, Alaska DU State Chairman, was recognized at the DU National Convention in Denver, Colorado, on May 23, 2009.  Roger was presented an award for achieving the #3 position in the 2008 State Chairman competition.  Under Roger's leadership, Alaska led the country in 2008 with a 15% increase in grassroots income.  Additionally, Roger was presented with a wood duck decoy signifying Alaska's qualification for a bronze State Award.
