Again hunters will have a "liberal" hunting season the same as last year. The waterfowl hunting regulations are much the same also. The general season starts on Oct 23rd and run straight through to Jan 30th. for the majority of the state. The Northeast will start on Oct 9th through Jan 21st. The daily bag limit will be 7 ducks with 14 in possession which may include 7 mallards but no more than 2 hens, 2 pintail, 1 canvasback, 2 redhead and 3 scaup. The goose limits are 8 per day with 16 in possession which may include 6 white geese, 6 dark geese but no more than 4 white fronted geese.
