MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Jan. 5, 2012 – Special events are scheduled nationwide to mark Ducks Unlimited's 75th anniversary, and DU's hometown of Memphis, Tenn., is no exception. On Friday, Feb. 10, DU will welcome many of the city's most influential figures and local corporate sponsors to its 19th Annual Wolf River Sponsor Dinner at the organization's headquarters.

This annual night of great food, fun and unique auction items provides DU staff, local sponsors and members of the community the opportunity to come together to support DU's wetlands and waterfowl conservation mission. This year's event will highlight 75 years of conservation achievement for the organization.

"The RSVPs are rolling in for this year's special Wolf River sponsor event," said Committee Chairman Randy Graves. "We're excited for this chance to share with Memphis's best and brightest DU's outlook for another 75 years of successful conservation work for North America's waterfowl."

Among the special auction items available at the sponsor dinner will be 10 premium firearms; 12 high-end hunting, fishing and adventure packages; entertainment packages; vintage art; and limited-edition 75th anniversary DU merchandise.

"As in past years, the food, merchandise and crowd will be truly first class," said Graves. "We invite all our dedicated DU supporters and sponsors from the Memphis area to join us on Feb. 10—you will not want to miss this special event."

The event will be held at 1 Waterfowl Way, Memphis, TN 38120, and will begin with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at 6:30 p.m. Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m., followed by silent and live auctions. Tickets are $300 for a single seat or $325 for a couple, while supplies last. A few corporate tables remain as well. Please call Mary Sehnert at (901) 758-3705 to reserve yours today.

Ducks Unlimited is the world's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving North America's continually disappearing waterfowl habitats. Established in 1937, Ducks Unlimited has conserved more than 12 million acres thanks to contributions from more than a million supporters across the continent. Guided by science and dedicated to program efficiency, DU works toward the vision of wetlands sufficient to fill the skies with waterfowl today, tomorrow and forever.
