As an inaugural donor to the Completing the Cycle (CTC) Initiative, you will be making a statement about your commitment to future generations of conservationists. We are speaking of great things with this initiative but it is the action you take that will make it a reality. Founder, DU President and New York City chairman Stirling Adams once said, "Conservation without money is conversation."

In the early years in our organization's history when Stirling made this statement, many of our founders were still casting fly lines on the historic Beaverkill River near Lewsbeach, New York. The Beaverkill River is where the idea of creating an international waterfowl conservation organization has its roots and on that site today stands a cairn memorializing that momentous time.

This year, donors have the opportunity to make a pledge or cash contribution of $10,000 or more in tribute for our next 75 years. Such largesse will be commemorated with an additional bronze cairn in the supporter's name. Coming generations will see that the spirit which infused our early conservationists in 1937 is still very much a proud part of our movement today. Your generous contribution will further make you part of Ducks Unlimited's great history.
