Clay Center, Neb. -  May 16, 2012 - Ducks Unlimited has a day of fun and learning for both youth and adults planned at the Verona Open House on June 9. Visitors can learn about waterfowl habitat management, dig in the mud for duck food, ride in "Big Red" the tractor, hunt for hidden items with GPS and try their hand at shooting, among other activities.

The June 9th open house runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes a "Legacy" Greenwing Dedication at 1 p.m.

The Verona Complex, near Clay Center, is an excellent example of healthy Rainwater Basin waterfowl habitat. Directions and more information.
