THE MISSOURI/MILK RIVER CHAPTER OF DUCKS UNLIMITED INVITES YOU TO THE 2013 MONTANA DU STATE CONVENTION

HOME OF FORT PECK LAKE

JULY 19-21, 2013

 

It's time to sign up and make rooms reservations for this year's Montana Ducks Unlimited State Convention!

We have a block or rooms reserved at the host facility - The Cottonwood Inn, but those rooms will be released starting June 18th.  All indications point to those rooms booking up fast after they are released to the general public....so DO NOT WAIT to make your reservations.

 

Weekend Agenda:

          Friday - July 19th

1 - 5 PM - State Council Meeting

6 - 9 PM - Missouri/Milk River "Duck Fever" Sportsman's Night Out

9 - ???? - Reloading Room (Bring a bottle to donate to the Reloading Room and you'll be entered into a drawing for a shotgun)

                * Bring your favorite wild game snack food for the Reloading Room and you'll have a chance to win some great prizes.

        Saturday - July 20th

8:30 - 12 - Conservation Presentations (learn how the dollars DU raises are being put to work in the best way possible)

   * There will be presenters from the DU Great Plains Regional Office, DU's National Headquarters and DU Canada

12 - 1 PM - Lunch

1 - 4 PM - Free Time (Shoot Trap, Hen Hunt, Sight Seeing, Visit with Friends, Take a Nap)

4 - 5:30 - Cocktails for Conservation (Learn why major donors are so vital to DU's conservation mission)

6 - 10 PM - State Convention Banquet

10 PM- ???? - Reloading Room

 

        Sunday - July 21st

Depart at your leisure.

 

Be sure you take advantage of the great fishing opportunities available at Fort Peck Lake.  Come a few days early or stay for a few days after the convention, but by all means you need to try out some of this world class warm water fishing! The biologists are telling us this will be a great year for fishing the lake. The lake is full of big walleye and northern pike. Check out these great fish caught last year:
