Michigan DU State Chair Terry Laymon was recently published in
The Oakland Press. He was responding to an article the paper printed on May 11 this year entitled "Agricultural Leaders of Michigan: Releasing Land from Conservation Reserve Program Vital to Combating Crop Shortages, Rising Prices."
In a "Guest Opinion" column printed on June 5, Laymon stated that he felt the earlier article misrepresented conservation programs in the Farm Bill.
