Purpose: To acquire and protect 147 acres of agricultural lands and wetlands habitat near the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. Perpetual protection of this property, through its acquisition, will help meet KDFWR?s long-range goal of providing valuable migration habitat for waterfowl on key concentration areas. This project is managed by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources to provide quality wintering habitat for waterfowl and additional public hunting opportunities.
Location: The project is located in Ballard County approximately 5 miles northwest of Barlow, KY.
