About Dan: I grew up in the panhandle northwest of Lubbock, hunting doves and upland game birds. I was first introduced to duck hunting in college by my friends and roommates who founded the Stephen F. Austin State University Ducks Unlimited Chapter. Since that time, I have spent as much time on the water as possible, hunting primarily in North, Southeast and deep East Texas. After graduating in 2005 with a degree in Forest Wildlife Management, I continued pursuing my passion for wildlife and wetlands through my professional career with Advanced Ecology, Ltd., restoring wetlands and streams throughout the Arkansas/Louisiana/Texas regions.
