After spending countless hours in temporary blinds made of everything from burlap sacks to driftwood to palm fronds, I've learned firsthand there is more than one way to hide from the prying eyes of waterfowl.

Today's mobile duck and goose hunters are blessed with a plethora of choices when it comes to portable concealment. Although one story can't feature every blind on the market, following is a solid mix that will give you an idea of the options available today. Take a look. Perhaps you will find something that matches your waterfowl hunting needs this season.

1. Avery M-2 Ground Blind Built for Comfort Hunters looking for a roomier ground blind will like Avery Outdoors' M-2 (Migrator-2).
Its elongated doors measure 51 ½ inches, and the cockpit is 25 inches wide. The 22-pound M-2 folds easily for transport and has a padded ergonomic seat, zippered flag ports, stubble straps, quick-close door pulls, and a powder-coated aluminum frame. The M-2 is available in Avery KW-1 and Mossy Oak Shadow Grass. averyoutdoors.com

Its modular design allows two blinds to be joined together to accommodate more hunters. The blind's front cover, which provides excellent concealment, flips forward when it's time to shoot. aerooutdoors.com
