There are many ways to support Ducks Unlimited, each expressive of the donor's particular interests and each with distinct tax advantages. Outright gifts provide immediate, current support of DU. Deferred gifts can include bequest provisions, retirement account designations and life insurance. A variety of tangible assets may also be appropriate for charitable gift purposes.

The tax benefits of making a charitable gift can be substantial. Careful tax planning and structuring can actually decrease one's cost while increasing support for DU. Gifts of Cash

Cash contributions may be made as lump sums or as annual payments. An annual reminder will be sent as a convenience in the month prior to the anniversary of your pledge. Visit our Giving Levels page for more details.

Gifts of Securities and Stock

Ducks Unlimited can accept several types of securities including: common stocks, bank CDs, mutual funds, and bonds.

The securities gift must be a negotiable instrument (that is, one for which title is transferable).

Tangible Gifts

Matching Gifts

Over 500 companies and corporate foundations currently match their employees' gifts to Ducks Unlimited. Under a corporate matching gift program, gifts made by a company's eligible employees to the nonprofit organizations that meet the company's guidelines are matched with company or corporate foundation funds. If you are affiliated with a company that matches contributions to conservation, you may be eligible to have your gift to Ducks Unlimited doubled or tripled.
