We are excited to join with Discover in accomplishing our goal to conserve, restore and manage wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl."

7. Protect Habitat in Perpetuity
Land protection through conservation easements is one of the many ways DU works to conserve wildlife habitat. The tax benefits of placing an easement on your land can be substantial. Careful planning can do more than protect the landscape for many generations—it can increase resources for conservation. Of the more than 12 million acres conserved by DU, more than 362,000 acres have been protected through conservation easements. Learn more about easements at www.ducks.org/easement
8. Join the Feather Society – Leave a Legacy
There's a simple way to leave a lasting conservation legacy through your estate. All you have to do is include DU as a partial beneficiary on an IRA, life insurance policy, or 401K retirement savings account. Future generations will thank you for your support. Make your gift today at www.ducksgift.org
9. Give a Gift of Land
Every piece of land has value, and gifts of land are a wonderful way to protect pristine landscapes. DU biologists work with the state and federal government, other conservation organizations, and individuals to find an appropriate owner for donated lands, which may become a valuable addition to a wildlife conservation area. Other lands of less value to wildlife are sold, with the proceeds going to support conservation. Learn more about gifts of land at www.ducks.org/landgift
10. Honor a Loved One
When you honor the memory of a friend or loved one, you can offer more than just flowers and sympathy. Honor them by helping to conserve wildlife habitat across the continent. For more information on this special gift option, visit www.ducks.org/memorial
