Ducks Unlimited's habitat restoration and protection programs are delivered through the philanthropy and hard work of more than 600,000 members. Just as there are many reasons to give, there are also many ways to give. Following are 10 ways you can continue to make a difference for the ducks.

1. Volunteer

Volunteer! It's a great way to have fun, meet new people, and support DU's vital habitat work. Join our team of nearly 60,000 DU volunteers and become a leader in wetlands conservation. For volunteer opportunities in your community, please visit us at www.ducks.org/how-to-help/volunteer.

2. Join Ducks Unlimited Online

Join DU online for only $35 and you'll receive membership benefits for one year, including a member card, decals, Ducks Unlimited magazine and members only web access.

As an added bonus, we'll also send you the DU Beige Fleece Jacket as our free gift to you!

3. Apply for the new Ducks Unlimited Discover Credit Card

The Ducks Unlimited Discover card is the new Official Credit Card of Ducks Unlimited. Using your Ducks Unlimited Discover card supports wetlands conservation through Ducks Unlimited.

"Corporate involvement and support has played a vital role in strengthening the Ducks Unlimited brand among outdoor enthusiasts across the country," said Ducks Unlimited Chief Executive Officer Dale Hall. "In addition, and most importantly, these important relationships have been a big part of Ducks Unlimited's 75 years of conservation success. We are excited to join with Discover in accomplishing our goal to conserve, restore and manage wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl."

Choose from three card designs: mallards, pintails—both designed by world-renowned artist Jim Killen—or green with the DU logo.

4. Attend a DU Dinner

Attend a local event and have a terrific time with friends and fellow DU members in your community. Each year, DU volunteers and staff hold more than 4,000 fundraising events across the country to benefit waterfowl and wetlands. Find events in your area at www.ducks.org/events.

5. Make your dog part of the DU family with the K9 Club

Ducks Unlimited is pleased to present our newest membership level, dedicated to your best four legged friend and hunting companion!

Enroll your dog in the all new Ducks Unlimited K9 Club, and he will be part of an organization committed to ensuring that the future of waterfowl hunting is brighter for generations to come. For only $15, your pet receives member benefits for one year including the members-only K9 Club decal and DU dog tag, and a personalized membership certificate suitable for display. You can even upload your favorite photos to the DU Canine Directory.

6. Become a Major Sponsor

Major Sponsors have chosen to make an immediate and significant impact on wetlands conservation. Your pledge today will help conserve and protect vital wetlands throughout North America. By becoming a Major Sponsor, you are leading the charge to secure our continent's wetlands and joining the ranks of our top 1 percent of donors. Become a sponsor today at www.ducks.org/majorsponsors.

7. Protect Habitat in Perpetuity

Land protection through conservation easements is one of the many ways DU works to conserve wildlife habitat. The tax benefits of placing an easement on your land can be substantial. Careful planning can do more than protect the landscape for many generations—it can increase resources for conservation. Of the more than 12 million acres conserved by DU, more than 362,000 acres have been protected through conservation easements. Learn more about easements at www.ducks.org/easement.

8. Join the Feather Society – Leave a Legacy

There's a simple way to leave a lasting conservation legacy through your estate. All you have to do is include DU as a partial beneficiary on an IRA, life insurance policy, or 401K retirement savings account. Future generations will thank you for your support. Make your gift today at www.ducksgift.org.

9. Give a Gift of Land

Every piece of land has value, and gifts of land are a wonderful way to protect pristine landscapes. DU biologists work with the state and federal government, other conservation organizations, and individuals to find an appropriate owner for donated lands, which may become a valuable addition to a wildlife conservation area. Other lands of less value to wildlife are sold, with the proceeds going to support conservation. Learn more about gifts of land at www.ducks.org/landgift.

10. Honor a Loved One

When you honor the memory of a friend or loved one, you can offer more than just flowers and sympathy. Honor them by helping to conserve wildlife habitat across the continent. For more information on this special gift option, visit www.ducks.org/memorial.
