Springfield Bulldog Chapter

The first Ducks Unlimited high school chapter fundraising event was held in 2003 at Collierville High School in Collierville, Tennessee. Since then, the number of active chapters in the United States has increased steadily. In 2022, 33 active chapters from 12 different states were responsible for raising more than $700,000 in event income for wetland conservation. DU Varsity volunteers can take part in the many leadership and networking opportunities the program provides in addition to supporting DU's mission and learning about conservation.

Today, Varsity chapters are playing an increasingly important role in Ducks Unlimited's conservation mission. DU recognizes that a vibrant and strong high school program is the key to a healthy future for wetlands conservation, and a strong emphasis will continue to be placed on the development of what has been a very successful program.
