The Massachusetts Atlantic Frontier DU Chapter had another exceptional year in 2008. The Westport, Mass., chapter has taken top honors in Massachusetts for the past three years, as well as being a strong competitor for the top chapter in New England.

The Atlantic Frontier Chapter will host five events this year as the members and committee push for becoming number one in New England.

"This group has come together and really pushed the envelope, following the lead of their chairman, Lou Othote," says Bill Lyons, state chairman elect for Massachusetts Ducks Unlimited. "They know what works and continue to do these things year in and year out."

The members of the Atlantic Frontier Chapter are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. Committee members like Eric Lepage, owner of Lepage's Seafood and Grille, not only hosts monthly meetings at his restaurant, but also dedicates his time to assisting with the DU events held there.

"This is just a small portion of the amazing efforts these guys put forth in order to have a successful chapter," said Lyons.

With the grills going and the ambition for another top-notch performance, the Atlantic Frontier Chapter is primed to make their chapter known once again in 2009.
