Historic Homes Tour
8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Wednesday and Thursday)
Step back in time and discover a piece of Tennessee history as you stroll around Belle Meade Plantation. Then, you're off to an 1850s Italian villa, Belmont Mansion, for a glimpse into the colorful life of Adelicia Acklen. After Belmont Mansion, the motor coach will take you to the quaint town of Franklin where you can enjoy a relaxing lunch on your own or do some shopping in the downtown square before heading to Carnton Plantation to learn how the bloodiest Civil War battle impacted this farm and turned it into the largest privately owned military cemetery in the nation. Be prepared: the walls don't talk, but the floors do!
Music City Full-Day Tour
8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Wednesday and Thursday)
Discover how Nashville became known as Music City. This tour will take you through the historic RCA Studio B, located on world-famous Music Row. You'll see where legendary musicians like Elvis Presley, Eddy Arnold, the Everly Brothers, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Floyd Cramer and others recorded their hits. Our next stop is Ryman Auditorium, also known as the "Mother Church of Country Music" and "Carnegie Hall of the South." Be part of 100 years of history as you walk in the footsteps of country music's great performers like Hank Williams, Marty Robbins, Patsy Cline and Roy Acuff. Then we'll visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum with its treasure trove of country music history and memorabilia. Be sure to check out the rotunda where the bronze likenesses of the Hall of Fame members are displayed.
This is a must-do tour for anyone visiting Nashville!

Music City Half-Day Tour

For those who only have a few hours to experience Nashville, this tour is the one to take. Like the full-day tour, you will visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and Ryman Auditorium.
The Hermitage Tour
2:30 pm – 5:00 pm (Friday)
Set on more than 600 acres of rolling middle Tennessee countryside, The Hermitage offers a commemorative tribute to one of America's most-admired presidents and great military heroes, Andrew Jackson. Many original furnishings, countless personal items and the beautiful landscaping and gardens are kept much as they were when the Jackson family lived here. Andrew Jackson was known for being the first in many areas. He was the first president born in a log cabin, first to ride a railroad train, first elected from his non-native state and the first Democrat elected president. Visit the Hermitage and get a glimpse of his fascinating life.

Join us for a DU golf scramble to kick off convention. You may sign up as an individual or put your own team together to participate in a Texas handicap scramble or simple golf scramble (your choice). The tourney will be played on the Gaylord Springs Golf Links with multiple prize holes and prizes for top finishers. This package offers 18 holes of golf, snacks, an exclusive DU raffle and goodie bag. Be sure to join us as this is a terrific way to begin our 75th anniversary convention – with your DU friends.

75-Target Sporting Clays Funshoot
9:00 am – 4:00 pm (Wednesday)
If golf is not your sport, then join your DU friends at the beautiful Nashville Gun Club (Tennessee Clay Target Complex) for a special 75th Anniversary Funshoot. Bring your own shotgun, or use one of the loaners available. The only other equipment you must bring is your mandatory eye protection. Standard eyeglasses will suffice. Everything else you'll need will be provided, including ammunition. The "main event" will be a 75 shooter-friendly target sporting clays shoot. Free helpful shooting instruction will be available for those who want it.
Here's your chance to be a hero! Team up with two of your DU friends to form a three-person team and challenge the DU TV crew of Huntley Ritter, Mike Checkett and Wade Bourne in a separate 15-target "classic waterfowl shots" shoot-out! Enjoy meeting and talking with the stars of Ducks Unlimited Television, then beat the DU TV team score and win recognition from your fellow DUers as "DU top guns."
Awards will be presented in the 75-target "main event" to the top shooters in each class on a Lewis Class basis; special prizes will go to the top youth, lady and "old-timer" shooters. Prizes will also be awarded to members of each team to beat the DU TV team in the "classic waterfowl shots" shoot-out.
A motor coach will take you from the Gaylord Opryland Hotel Presidential Lobby to the gun club. The motor coach will loop on the half hour beginning at 8:30 am. All shooters must begin shooting no later than 1:30 pm.
DU Family Reunion
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Wednesday)
Come early and party with your DU family as we celebrate this milestone in our history. Visit with past and present leaders of DU, and hear stories of the legends and characters that formed the organization. Dinner and entertainment will be provided.

The Music City welcomes DU as only Nashville can – with an exclusive Grand Ole Opry Show. Party in the plaza with your friends as you get ready to enjoy a night of music and entertainment with country music's new stars and legends of the Grand Ole Opry.
