TOURS

The motor coach will depart from the Gaylord Opryland Hotel Presidential Lobby for all tours.

Historic Homes Tour

8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Wednesday and Thursday)
Step back in time and discover a piece of Tennessee history as you stroll around Belle Meade Plantation. Then, you're off to an 1850s Italian villa, Belmont Mansion, for a glimpse into the colorful life of Adelicia Acklen. After Belmont Mansion, the motor coach will take you to the quaint town of Franklin where you can enjoy a relaxing lunch on your own or do some shopping in the downtown square before heading to Carnton Plantation to learn how the bloodiest Civil War battle impacted this farm and turned it into the largest privately owned military cemetery in the nation. Be prepared: the walls don't talk, but the floors do!

Music City Full-Day Tour

8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Wednesday and Thursday)
Discover how Nashville became known as Music City. This tour will take you through the historic RCA Studio B, located on world-famous Music Row. You'll see where legendary musicians like Elvis Presley, Eddy Arnold, the Everly Brothers, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Floyd Cramer and others recorded their hits. Our next stop is Ryman Auditorium, also known as the "Mother Church of Country Music" and "Carnegie Hall of the South." Be part of 100 years of history as you walk in the footsteps of country music's great performers like Hank Williams, Marty Robbins, Patsy Cline and Roy Acuff. Then we'll visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum with its treasure trove of country music history and memorabilia. Be sure to check out the rotunda where the bronze likenesses of the Hall of Fame members are displayed.

This is a must-do tour for anyone visiting Nashville!
Lunch provided at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Music City Half-Day Tour

8:00 am – 12:30 pm (Wednesday and Thursday)
For those who only have a few hours to experience Nashville, this tour is the one to take. Like the full-day tour, you will visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and Ryman Auditorium.

The Hermitage Tour

2:30 pm – 5:00 pm (Friday)
Set on more than 600 acres of rolling middle Tennessee countryside, The Hermitage offers a commemorative tribute to one of America's most-admired presidents and great military heroes, Andrew Jackson. Many original furnishings, countless personal items and the beautiful landscaping and gardens are kept much as they were when the Jackson family lived here. Andrew Jackson was known for being the first in many areas. He was the first president born in a log cabin, first to ride a railroad train, first elected from his non-native state and the first Democrat elected president. Visit the Hermitage and get a glimpse of his fascinating life.
