The west is a landscape of extremes. From the desolate deserts largely devoid of water, to the burgeoning cities along the Pacific Coast growing ever more thirsty, waterfowl are caught in the middle. In an effort to spend limited resources most efficiently across this vast environment, Ducks Unlimited uses advanced satellite and computer technology, in concert with on-the-ground engineering and biological expertise, to build projects where they are most needed to enhance waterfowl and wetlands habitat.
