The U.S. Senate voted in September to advance critical legislation, the
Sportsmen's Act of 2012 (S. 3525), when they return Tuesday, Nov. 13 for the lame duck session.
Ducks Unlimited urges you to
contact your Senators today and ask them to pass the Sportsmen's Act. This important legislation is a compilation of 19 bipartisan bills that focus on
habitat conservation, including authorization of the
North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA), and on increasing
public-land access for sportsmen.
I have called my Senators and urge you to do the same—
contact your two Senators today to voice support for passage of this critical legislation and ask your fellow sportsmen, family and friends to do the same!
