Four of DU's premier California projects were on prominent display in the state capitol in September, in full view of state legislators, capitol staffers, lobbyists and the general public.

The exhibition featured the Napa Plant Site, Mount Shasta Wildlife Area, Mayberry Farms Wildlife Area and Gray Lodge Wildlife Area. The four large project posters, and two smaller posters featuring a California state resolution and a letter from the governor honoring DU's 75th anniversary, were specially created for this display. They were displayed just outside the governor's office in the Main Annex Hallway from Sept. 23 to 29.

The timing for the display could not have been better, beginning the week before the hunting season opener with the legislature in full session. More than 10,000 people had the opportunity to view these DU projects throughout the week.
