Robin Webb (KY), a DU Life Sponsor, is currently serving as president of the National Assembly of Sportsmen Caucuses.
  • Sen. Mike Green (second from left) was elected to the National Assembly of Sportsmen Caucuses’ Executive Council and was recognized for his legislative leadership in Michigan. Ashlee Ellis from DU’s Southern Region and Gildo Tori from the Great Lakes/Atlantic Region spent four days at the National Assembly of Sportsmen Caucuses (NASC) in Rend Lake, Ill., last month.

The NASC conference was attended by legislators from 24 states, as well as conservation and sportsmen partners from across the country. The caucus included presentations during the day on legislative issues impacting the conservation, hunting and fishing community, followed by evening receptions and outdoor sporting activities such as duck, deer and pheasant hunting and skeet shooting.

DU sponsored an evening reception for the legislators, and Gildo and Ashlee spent valuable time with many of the attending legislators and partners.
