Millions of ducks and geese fly down to the Mississippi Valley during the fall migration - and millions more people depend on the streams and rivers for clean drinking water and farming. Areas like the Wolf River, the White River and, of course, the Mississippi River have been havens for waterfowlers for years.

In Tennessee, a 2010 report highlights the effects that the lack of protections has had on several streams and wetlands in that state.  Read the report
