Conservation groups discuss importance of farm bill

Montana congressional staff toured conservation sites to learn more about farm bill conservation programs.

Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever and the Gallatin Valley Land Trust hosted staff from Montana’s congressional delegation to start a conversation about the importance of the upcoming farm bill and the conservation title. Staff from the offices of Sen. Jon Tester, Sen. Steve Daines and Rep. Greg Gianforte toured three sites near Bozeman highlighting the Regional Conservation Partnership Program, the Agriculture Conservation Easement Program and the Wetland Reserve Easement Program.
