The primary function of Ducks Unlimited's research efforts is to provide information to guide, adapt and evaluate our conservation programs. Information gained from carefully designed research is used to:
- prioritize where we work
- identify appropriate conservation actions
- identify milestones at which programmatic shifts are necessary
- inform policy decisions
This marriage of conservation and science ensures that each and every DU dollar invested in our conservation programs is used as effectively and efficiently as possible.
