Ducks Unlimited has pledged to spend $1.8 million on conservation programs in South Dakota during each of the next five years to ensure that the best waterfowl habitat in the state's portion of the Prairie Pothole Region is protected and restored. The pledge was made in support of South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard's work to develop a state conservation fund.
