2010-11 Alaska Collector Decoy
The Alaska DU Collector Decoy, Fourth Edition, is available by auction only at Alaska DU Events thru June 30, 2011. Only 40 of these custom, hand-made decoys are being produced.
The fourth edition state decoy features the Surf Scoter, as photographed above. Each decoy is signed by the artist (Don Mintz) and comes with a numbered brass plaque. The first edition (Harlequin), second edition (Longtail), and third edition (Stellar's Eider) were extremely popular.
The purchaser of each decoy is entered into a raffle drawing to win a 12ga Winchester SX3 shotgun (retail value of $1400). The shotgun drawing will be held in June, 2011.
