Annual Dinner Banquets
DU has more than 3,200 fund-raising committees in every state across the US. These committees hold more than 4,000 events annually. The staple of these events is the annual banquet, or DU Dinner.
Ducks Unlimited banquets have long served to introduce the DU mission to millions of people in local communities. These events raise the majority of the money needed to fund DU’s conservation efforts across the continent.
These events are organized locally by our volunteers with the help of the Ducks Unlimited regional directors.
Some of the many skills needed to host a successful event include:
- Event organization and administration
- Volunteer recruitment
- Event promotion
- Audio/visual support
- Event program design and layout
- Financial management
- Auction and raffle organization
- Ticket sales
