Ingle Waterfowl Production Area and
LeClaire Waterfowl Production Area

 
Ducks Unlimited provided funding to restore native grasses on two Waterfowl Production Areas (WPA). They are owned and managed by the USFWS and are situated in the James River Lowlands in Beadle County near Huron. DU provided funding assistance in converting 100 acres of cropland on the Ingle WPA and 40 acres on the LeClaire WPA to native grasses. Both WPAs contain excellent wetland complexes and attract 80 to 100 breeding duck pairs each spring
