ROME BRAVES GAME 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
A true night out at the ball park hosted by Georgia Ducks Unlimited at the Rome Braves stadium. Enjoy the DU social gathering at the outdoor pavilion, enjoy "ballpark-style" food, drinks, and America's favorite past time as the Rome Braves host the Kannapolis Intimidators at 7pm. All DU attendees will be provided with tickets to the game. One lucky attendee will even get to throw out the FIRST PITCH!!
**Bartow Transit System buses will pick you up at the hotel and bring you back to the hotel. Buses will leave at 5:00pm, 6:00pm, and 6:30pm; return service to the hotel will be immediately following the game.

HOSPITALITY CENTRAL 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Hosted by Georgia Ducks Unlimited at the hotel, and as always, expect a "friendly" poker game to be part of the agenda. Cocktails/snacks provided.

SATURDAY JULY 12th

Guest speakers, conservation update, and news from state leaders will highlight the morning meeting. Topics to include Georgia conservation update, North America conservation update, insight into the "business" of Ducks Unlimited, and much more! Come hear about topics you've always been curious about. This ain't your typical business session...this is all about duck hunting, conserving wetlands, and our preserving our waterfowling heritage.
**Speakers to include the current DU Chairman of the Board, Dr. Jim Hulbert

APPRECIATION & AWARDS LUNCHEON 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Join us for lunch as we hand out our top chapter awards from 2007

OPTIONAL AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES

BARNSLEY GARDNES SHOOTING, SPA, & TOURS 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Board your bus at the hotel and then sit back and relax. Your ride will take you to the beautiful Orvis-endorsed shooting facility in Adairsville. Included in your registration fee is a round of sporting clays (100 targets). If shooting isn't your thing, feel free to explore the property, visit the spa, purchase a lesson in shooting or fly fishing, or simply relax. You can also participate in a guided tour of the property in an air-conditioned bus.

SHOPPING EXCURSION 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Enjoy the finest opportunity to fill your suitcase with local gifts. Enjoy a variety of shops in downtown Cartersville, outlets in Calhoun (including stores such as Ann Taylor, Liz Claiborne, Coach, and many more), and outlets in Dalton.

OTHER LOCAL EXCURSIONS 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
This trip will include multiple stops to accomodate everyone's interests. Transportation stops will include:
-Anheuser-Busch Cartersville Brewery tour, guided/narrated by Mark Worthington
-Golfing at the Cartersville Country Club
-Boating on Lake Allatoona
-Booth Western Art Museum
-Hiking at Red Top Mountain
-Visits to the Etowah Indian Mounds

This year's auction will surely raise some eyebrows with numerous unique, never before seen items!! Don't hurry home after the dinner and auction as we will have some wonderful entertainment that is sure to be to everyone's liking.
