The Welfare Foundation

Known for funding high-priority, highly successful environmental and educational programs in Delaware, The Welfare Foundation awarded DU a generous grant to survey, design and restore marginal agricultural lands within the headwaters of the Chesapeake and Delaware bays’ tributaries. Once restored, these areas will have a positive effect on water quality downstream, as well as providing high-value habitat for waterfowl.
