Richland County

Ducks Unlimited cooperated with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to restore 50 acres of drained wetland and 17 acres of native prairie on private land through the Wetlands Reserve Program. The project, which involved constructing ditch plugs, earthen berms and scrapes, will benefit waterfowl and other wetland wildlife that use this area. This is DU’s first project in Richland County.
