Grand River conservation easement -
Ashtabula Co.
Grand River Partners Inc. and Ashtabula SWCD accepted a 205-acre conservation easement from a landowner in Ashtabula County. This property is comprised of forested and emergent wetlands adjacent to hayfield production and will provide good breeding and brood rearing habitat for wood ducks. This project was completed under the Ohio Grand River NAWCA grant.
