OPM Project

DU is continuing extensive wetland restoration work on the OPM Project near Fremont. Approximately 27 acres of wetlands are being restored and enhanced along the Platte River on a privately owned property that has been enrolled into the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wetland Reserve Program. DU is providing engineering and construction management services. Funding for the construction costs is entirely paid for by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Restoration work on this site commenced in the fall of 2005 and should be completed by October 2006.
