CASWELL GAME LANDS
Highrock Waterfowl Impoundment
Purpose: To restore 12 acres of moist-soil wetlands on Caswell Game Lands through construction of dikes and installation of a 36" aluminum flashboard riser. The waterfowl impoundment will be manipulated for moist-soil production and flooded agricultural crops. This project is managed by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission to provide quality wintering habitat for waterfowl.

Location: The project is located in Caswell County approximately 1 mile southeast of Yanceyville, NC.
