Bluebill WMA

Ducks Unlimited will install a new well on the Bluebill WMA during 2009. This Wildlife Management Area, owned by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, is located in Fillmore County, the heart of Nebraska’s Rainwater Basin. The well will provide a supplemental source of water to manage wetland habitats on the site. Funding for the project has been secured through a North American Wetlands Conservation Act grant awarded to DU in April 2009.
