2009 Idaho DU Art Contest Winners2009 Idaho Ducks Unlimited convention goers selected
works by two artists as winners of the state contest.
They are"Sunrise Challenge", a beautiful painting of
two hunters setting out decoys from their duck boat
in front of a morning sunrise. The winning artist was
Broderick Crawford of Clayton, Georgia and this painting
will be reproduced as the 2010 Idaho DU State Print
"Morning Stretch" painted by J. P. Edwards of Raleigh,
North Carolina was selected to become the 2010
Idaho DU Sponsor Print. This depiction of a green
winged teal drake "arching up" on the water is
accurate in fine detail.
Both works will be published as limited edition prints
and available at Idaho DU events beginning July 1,
