Clean Water Action Center - Rocky Mountains

Headwater streams and small alpine wetlands provide habitat for thousands of waterfowl and wildlife, and provide water for cities and people thousands of miles downstream. However, these water resources are in danger of being lost or polluted under the current regulations that leave them unprotected.

Check out these sample letters to the editor, personalize them and submit them to your local newspaper to spread the word about the importance of clean water where you live! (Note: Letters to the editor are in .doc format and will open in Microsoft Word)

After sending a letter, contact your Members of Congress and remind them of the importance of wetlands and clean water to the people of the Rocky Mountains.
