Conteos de Aves Acuáticas en Nicaragua

Nicaragua ha recibido financiamiento de Ducks Unlimited, Inc. desde 2000-2007. En febrero de 2003 tuvo lugar en Nicaragua la 1ª Reunión Regional de Monitoreo de Anátidas y Conservación de Humedales de América Central, el Caribe y norte de América del Sur.

Nicaragua tiene humedales importantes: Tisma, Tecomapa, Las Playitas, lago de Moyúa, Los Guatuzos, Apanás y Estero Real entre otros. En estos humedales se registraron diez especies distintas de anátidas.

Waterbird Surveys in Nicaragua

Nicaragua received funding from Ducks Unlimited, Inc. from 2000-2007. In 2003 Nicaragua hosted the 1st Regional Meeting on Waterfowl Surveys and Wetland Conservation in Central America, the Caribbean and northern South America.

Nicaragua has several important wetlands: Tisma, Tecomapa, Las Playitas, Lago de Moyúa, Los Guatuzos, Apanás, and Estero Real among others. In these wetlands at least 10 different species of waterfowl can be found
